David González Sanz (Spain 1986) worked as a social educator for more than eight years in protection institutions for childhood, social services for migrants and residential resources for women in gender violence situation, starting his activity as a photojournalist in the summer of 2013 covering the situation in Egypt during the military coup, working later in countries like Ukraine, Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Spain. He has collaborated with the UNHCR Committee, making different photo essays about the situation of syrian refugees and press agencies such as EFE and REUTERS covering daily / breaking news. His work has been published in media such as “US News”, “France24”, “Paris Match”, “Neue Buchër Zeitung”, “ASHAI”, “El Pais”, “El Mundo”, “La Vanguardia” and “XL Semanal”, among others.

Usually develops personal projects and stories in areas related to education, violence among childhood and most recently, the situation and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on culture industry and artistic production.
